1.- Use of Cookies on the website and sub-domains of Emma’s bureau.
Our website www.emmasbureau.com and the associated subdomains of Emma’s bureau, a consultancy firm owned by Mrs Emmanuelle Hatzigiannakis, use a technology called “Cookies”, and other similar mechanisms. Cookies are files sent to a browser by means of a web server to record the activities of the User on a specific website or on all the websites, apps and/or services of the Emma’s bureau website. The first purpose of the Cookies is to facilitate the User a faster access to the selected Services. In addition, the Cookies personalize the Services offered by the Web, facilitating and offering each User information that is of interest or that may be of interest to him/her, in accordance with the use he/she makes of the Services.
The Web uses Cookies to personalize and to facilitate to the maximum the navigation of the User. Cookies are only associated with an anonymous user and his/her computer, and do not provide references that allow the user’s personal data to be deduced. The User may configure his/her browser to notify and reject the installation of Cookies sent by the Web, without this affecting the User’s ability to access the Content. However, it should be noted that, in any case, the quality of the operation of the Web page may be reduced.
Registered Users who register or who have logged in will be able to benefit from more personalized and profile-oriented services, thanks to the combination of data stored in Cookies with the personal data used at the time of registration. These Users expressly authorize the use of this information for the indicated purpose, without prejudice to their right to refuse or disable the use of cookies.
2.- Typology, purpose and operation of Cookies:
Cookies, depending on their permanence, can be divided into session or permanent cookies. The former expire when the User closes the browser. The permanent ones expire when the objective for which they serve is fulfilled (for example, so that the User remains identified in some service) or when they are deleted manually.
Additionally, depending on their purpose, Cookies can be classified as follows:
Analytical Cookies, pointing out that every time a User visits a Service, a tool from an external provider generates an Analytical Cookie on the User’s computer. This Cookie, which is only generated during the visit, will be used on future visits to the Web to identify the visitor anonymously. The main objectives pursued are
– Allow anonymous identification of browsing users through the “Cookie” (identifies browsers and devices, not people) and therefore the approximate count of the number of visitors and their trend over time.
– To identify anonymously the most visited contents and therefore more attractive for the Users.
– To know if the User who is accessing is new or repeats a visit.
The companies that generate these Cookies have their own privacy policies. Currently, Emma’s bureau’s website uses the Google Analytics platform to manage these services.
Geo-location cookies, which are used to find out which country you are in when you request a Service. This Cookie is completely anonymous, and is only used to help target content to your location.
Registration Cookies, which are generated once the User has registered or subsequently logged in, and are used to identify you in the Services for the following purposes:
– To keep the User identified so that, if he closes a Service, the browser or the computer and at another time or another day he re-enters that Service, he will continue to be identified, thus facilitating his navigation without having to identify himself again. This functionality can be deleted if the User clicks on the “close session” functionality, so that this Cookie is deleted and the next time the User enters the Service he/she will have to log in to be identified.
– Comment that some Services may use social networking connectors such as Facebook or Twitter. When you register with a Service with social network credentials, you authorize the social network to store a persistent Cookie that remembers your identity and grants you access to the Services until it expires. The User may delete this Cookie and revoke access to the Services via social networks by updating their preferences on the social network they specify.
Performance Cookies, which remember your preferences for the tools found on the Services, so you don’t have to reconfigure the service each time you visit. By way of example, this typology includes:
– Video or audio player volume settings.
–The video transmission speeds that are compatible with your browser.
– Items stored in the “shopping cart” in e-commerce services such as stores.
3.- How to disable Cookies in all major browsers
It is usually possible to stop accepting Cookies from the browser, or to stop accepting Cookies from a particular Service.
All modern browsers allow you to change the Cookie settings. These settings are usually found in the ‘options’ or ‘preferences’ menu of your browser.
You can also set up your browser or email manager and install free plug-ins to prevent them from downloading.
Emma’s bureau’s Web offers orientation to the User on the steps to access the configuration menu of the Cookies and, in its case, of the private navigation in each one of the main browsers:

4.- What happens if Cookies are disabled

5.- Updates and changes to the Cookie Policy
Emma’s bureau’s website can modify this Cookie Policy in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements, or with the aim of adapting this policy to the instructions given by the Spanish Data Protection Agency and the Spanish National Institute of Cybersecurity, so users are advised to visit it regularly.
When significant changes are made to this Cookie Policy, Users will be notified either via the web or via email to registered Users.
